What is the Action Lab?
The Action lab is for companies seeking a deep meaningful engagement to evolve their capacity to operationalize diversity, equity and inclusion – in order to align diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) with business goals and create the greatest impact.
The Lab offers a cross-sector approach to solving organizational DEI challenges. This approach to designing DEI strategies is based on a framework combining organizational system levers that facilitate change, understanding of cultural habits, and the use of data to test “bets”.
Over the course of 3 months, companies will build a unique plan and approach that is right-sized for their goals, and a strong adaptive management orientation based on iterative approaches. Participants will test structures, competencies, and tools to advance and sustain equity efforts throughout their company. This experience will contribute to field-level knowledge about building company-wide DEI systems.
